Job Description SummaryThis position works within our Auto Center of Excellence (COE) in the Product Management area and provides analytics services to the business.
Utilizes market research data to identify, analyze, and evaluate markets, products, or services that are potential areas for the company to enter.
Develops and executes strategic plans for entry into new markets or the development and introduction of new or enhanced products and services.
Accountable for product premium volume growth and profitability.
Analyzes data and information to recommend actions to improve profitability.
Will manage relationship of every aspect of assigned product through interaction with relevant departments.
Compensation Minimum:
$68,200 / year Compensation Maximum:
$109,200 / year Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
Job DescriptionPrimary AccountabilitiesIncumbent develops knowledge regarding products, contract language, underwriting guidelines and/or analytics specific to Line.
Learns the process to develop and implement long-term strategies in support of the overall product strategy.
Assists in researching philosophies and strategies that support growth and long-term profitability goals.
Analyzes information to in support of determining profit factors in area of responsibility.
Monitors and analyzes the performance of the auto product lines, agent or book of business.
Evaluates profit factors and conducts analysis of performance data to provides product strategy recommendations relating to profit, growth, retention and overall auto book of business.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with other teams to identify product gaps and opportunities.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of insurance products and contracts (customer, industry, insurance, underwriting guidelines and risk concepts etc.
) Additional InformationExperience with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, SQL, SAS, and cloud-based technology preferred.
Relationship building, communications (telling a story with data), ability to influence without direct authority.
Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets into consumable information.
Ability to transform data into fact-based insights and recommendations through analysis.
Ability to communicate complex analytical results to peers and leaders.
This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office.

Basic knowledge and understanding of reporting tools and techniques.
Demonstrated experience using databases, spreadsheets, and analysis tools.
Demonstrated experience with various PC software applications and Microsoft Office products.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
