Principal Software Architect
Job Overview:
Schneider is seeking a Software Architect in Green Bay to make design recommendations, develop application and custom integrated solutions and provide automated systems applications.
The Software Architect will provide expertise regarding the integration of applications and assist with the most difficult support problems.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other software architects to ensure overall architecture roadmap alignment and implementation of integrated solutions.
Provide direction to project development team leaders, including coaching, mentoring and developing.
Work on projects and issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge of multiple technical areas and business segments.
Collaborate with business end users, IT analysts and technical leaders to create improved solutions.
Drive integration across all aspects of the solution portfolio to ensure solutions are secure, usable, high performing and scalable.
Maintain knowledge of current technologies and approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging of applications and of the overall architecture.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
Minimum of ten years of relevant work experience.
Expert level knowledge of architecture, application systems design, development, development patterns, quality assurance, integration methodologies, business and IT strategies, architectural standards and software and application capabilities.
Knowledge of multiple software development technologies.
Able to develop strategies and direction for business solutions using multiple technologies.
Can design and implement technical business solutions.
Experience developing system design and coding standards, guidelines and best practices.
Expertise in creating complex, high performing solutions that are maintainable and scalable.
