Network Security Engineer

Network Security Engineer Do you enjoy solving problems? Are you always the first one to figure out what's wrong? Join our IT team! This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network security infrastructure.
This includes the development and implementation of network and security policies and procedures, the configuration of security devices, and the monitoring of the network for security threats and performance.

Configure security devices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web application firewalls.
Monitor the network for performance metrics as well as security threats and vulnerabilities.
Respond to security incidents and investigate security breaches.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and technologies.
Work with other IT staff to ensure the security and availability of the organization's IT infrastructure.
Maintain, update and manage the disaster recovery processes and plan.
What job qualifications do you need to bring? Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience.
3
years of experience in network security.
Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
Experience with security devices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and end point security.
Experience with network design, hardware, and configurations.
Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
