Job Description:
Lindquist Machine Corporation is a growing Turn-Key custom machine builder working in diverse markets.
We specialize in Bringing Innovations Alive for our Customers.
Our target job candidate is an energetic and qualified Human Resources Leader/Recruiter who will fulfill the human resources function with a focus on recruiting personnel.
This role will be an integral part of our team, helping to expand our business and promote our culture at LMC.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for full cycle recruitment and on-boarding.
Includes networking with local colleges and high schools, building a sustainable pipeline into our talent pool.
Implement, maintain, and administer employee benefits programs.
Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of employee benefits (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, supplemental plans, HSAs, 401(k) plans, etc).
Assume responsibility for compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Assist in managing employee relations and promoting a strong company culture.
Maintain, update, and enforce employee handbook, code of conduct and other policies and procedures including reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol policy enforcement, anti-harassment, non-discrimination policies, etc.
Maintain all types of leaves (FMLA/Short-term/Military) Maintain employee timecards and entries for accuracy.
Process bi-weekly payroll.
Participate in Safety committee and monthly safety meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Broad HR knowledge (2 years or more preferred).
Payroll knowledge.
Knowledge of employment laws (state and federal).
Understanding of human relations and behavioral processes.
Proficiency with online job sites and recruiting tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc).
Ability to plan your work, organize, prioritize, and execute.
A fluid communicator with spoken, written and presentation strengths.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Problem-solving ability.
