State and Local Tax Manager - Located in Warroad, MN

The State & Local Tax Manager is responsible for state and local tax matters with a focus on state income, sales and use tax reporting and compliance matters for all US business unitsIn this role, you will develop and assist with the implementation of planning strategies to minimize tax liabilitiesYou will also be responsible for performing tax research and analysis on a wide array of state and local tax subjectsThis opportunity comes with a comprehensive total rewards package that starts your first day at MarvinUnique benefits include a $300 annual wellness stipend, profit sharing, leadership training, coordinated volunteering opportunities and morePlus, receive a relocation bonus for moving to our headquarters in Warroad, Minnesota, located on the beautiful shores of Lake of the WoodsHighlights of your role Manage income and indirect tax nexus, apportionment and revenue sourcing for income, business activity and indirect taxes Review and manage sales taxability matrices and analysis for indirect taxes Merger & Acquisition State & Local Tax due diligence for pending transactions State and Local Tax controversies involving audits and administrative appeals Review sales and use tax returns You're a good fit if you have Broad State & Local Tax experience, including income/franchise tax, personal income tax, and sales/use tax Finance or other related field's degree Master's or advanced degree preferred CPA and/or JD preferred We also want to make sure you have:
