Shop Assistant
Trillium Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Shop Assistant in Green Bay, WI to add to our client's growing team on 1st shift!The Shop Assistant will be responsible for operating various types of manual machinery to assist in the production processThe Shop Assistant will operate machinery such as grinding and deburring equipment, coil rewinders, manual punch press, and will use standard hand and power toolsExperience operating all equipment listed is not required and you will be trainedAdditional duties will include packaging finished materials, inventory tracking, and other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity, with a well-established organization in Green Bay, WI! The standard shift hours are Monday - Friday 6:
30am - 3:
00pm, with overtime availableStarting wage ranges based on experience level, $20-22/hr.

Qualifications:
- 2
years experience in an industrial/metal fab shop environment, preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints, required.
- Manual machine operating experience, strongly preferred.
- Experience using micrometers and calipers, preferred.
