Our Customer Service Associate role works in multiple departments to gain the necessary skills to move into their next roleWhile the majority of the time they will spend in Customer Service, this person will also help out in our Sales, Quality Lab, Accounting and Shipping departmentsThis will allow the growth and development to learn the corrugate business? Responsibilities Support to the Customer Service team (60-70% of the role) by providing internal desk coverage for vacations and as neededThis is includes:
Provide information, process requests for samples and price quotations to customers utilizing general and on-line commerce methods.Expedite the delivery of late orders and negotiate dates and times with customers.Coordinate returns, establish relacement orders and initiate any rework orders.Address and document any customer complants and determine best resolution to resolve issue.Promote new and/or additional services and products to existing and new customers.Maintain detailed records and verify information of existing accounts making changes as needed to maintain data accuracy.Estimate and assemble quotes for new projects per customer specificationsProvide data analysis and support to the sales team as requested.Manage warehouse inventory review/Vendor Managed Inentory (VMI) utilizationCoordinate new items for farm outsCoordinate new/revised items to ensure accuracyProcess overflow orders and expedite as neededGenerate sample/quote requests for cutomersCoordinate business and tooling transitionsSpecial projects (managing label inventories, ESP housekeeping, obsolete tooling)Support the Accounting function (20-25% of the role) this includes:
Daily management of the ouside FAB processingCreating and communicating the Daily ScorecardManaging the computer inventory project in IvantiCreating POsSupport the Sales function (10-15% of the role) this includes:
Learning how the Design function supports the One commercial team selling approach. n Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
