News Anchor Weekend Mornings - Reporter


WLUK Green Bay has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Weekend News Anchor / Reporter for our morning newscast Good Day Wisconsin. You'll be joining a Winning Team as our morning newscasts are all #1. Our morning team includes producers, editors, photographers and anchors. All are dedicated to serving the Northeast Wisconsin audience. During the week this position will report live from the field providing news and a community connection to region. Green Bay is ranked as a #1 place to live in the U.S. We enjoy four seasons, and plenty of outdoor activities:
Hiking, Biking, Skiing.not to mention the beauty of Lake Michigan and Door County. Oh and they don't call us Titletown USA for nothing, as we are home to Pro-Football's most entertaining team.


Skills and
Experience:



  • A self starter who can inspire and lead colleagues

  • Generate your own story ideas on a daily basis

  • Ability to deliver creative and engaging live reports from both breaking news and community events.

  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and solicit original story ideas


Requirements and
Qualifications:



  • Previous anchoring experience preferred

  • One year of on-air experience

  • Live shot experience is required

  • Previous experience working in a team environment is a must

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
