This position may be filled at entry level for training purposes, depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

This position may allow hybrid work for a portion of the work schedule up to 90% depending on the employee's preference and needs of the work unit.

There is no mileage reimbursement when traveling to the headquarter location.

Position Summary This position is responsible for policy analysis, program planning, program review, and policy procedure development for the child support program.
This position is in the Bureau of Child Support, which administers a variety of programs to assist individuals and families to pay or obtain child support.

Salary Information The starting salary is between $26.
34 and $37.
00 per hour ($54,787 and $76,960 annually), depending on qualifications for the Advanced level and is in pay schedule/range 07-03.
The starting salary for the Entry level is between $20.
24 and $31.
00 per hour ($42,099 and $64,480 annually) and is in pay schedule/range 07-04 Pay for current State of WI employees will be based on the compensation plan in effect at the time of the appointment.
Pay for current state employees who are transferring will be determined based upon the pay on transfer rules (higher level duties or equity) as outlined in the compensation plan in effect at the time of appointment.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Job Details Due to the nature of the position, final candidates may be required to allow DCF to conduct a security background check to determine whether the circumstances of any pending charges or convictions would be substantially related to the job being filled.

Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have:
Experience drafting and analyzing public policy Experience developing and implementing state and federal goals and timelines Experience preparing written documents such as issue papers, guidance documents, and recommendations for action Experience analyzing state and federal laws, regulations, and the administrative code, researching issues Well-qualified applicants will have:
Experience leading and/or participating in workgroups through policy and/or practice changes (making decisions, providing input, facilitating discussions, designing, or developing policy review and/or recommendations, etc) Experience providing training or formal leadership in a professional setting (approving and reviewing work, mentoring, etc) Experience working in a Human Service Delivery System (e.
g.
