Summary:Researches, develops, designs, installs and starts up a variety of building mechanical equipment and systems for industrial and some commercial purposes. Systems include HVAC, utility piping, controls, plumbing, fire protection and process air/dust collection. Core
Responsibilities:
Providing design calculations and ideas for projects of varying size. Calculate building heating and cooling loads, air-duct pressure losses and hydronic piping pressure losses.
Developing P&ID;'s, PFD's and AF&ID;'s for various air and utility system designs.
providing design direction, checking and editing support to one or more CAD Designers responsible for creating construction drawings, PFD's, P&ID;'s and AF&ID;'s.
Preparing design documentation to accompany all system designs, such as equipment specifications, installation specifications, and scope of work documents. Obtain various quotes, provide bid tabulations, make recommendations for purchase and write requisitions for order.
15 years experience with mechanical system designs for industrial and commercial clients.
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with external and internal customers.
Excellent engineering judgment to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
BS or MS Degree with emphasis on energy coursework such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, HVAC and pollution control. PE license or ability to obtain in multiple states.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
