Scope:
PCM is currently performing a 1600 user PC Win 7 refresh which we expect to start in towards the end of November and complete within 5 months. This is a good opportunity to get on board with a Win7 migration in an enterprise environment. Hours for the deployment are expected to be during non-business hours. Our Client is requesting that we do not interrupt the end users. At this time working, hours for the techs will be defined later.
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
Able to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
Must be able to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
Operates well in a fast paced/high stress environment.
Functional knowledge using and troubleshooting Windows XP/7 Operating System, Microsoft Office 2007/2010, Internet, printer, core applications and networks.
Solid hardware and software trouble-shooting/resolution skills.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be able to navigate and troubleshoot desktop issues in a locked down environment.
Qualified candidates will have their A+ certification, experience with software support, troubleshooting, system imaging, hardware break-fix support (i.e. laptops, desktops, laserjet printers), and deployment, and excellent customer service skills in a corporate environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
