Position: Senior Project Leader
Location: Green Bay, WI
Salary: $65-$75K DOE
This full-time position will be responsible for managing capital equipment projects. The position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects from design to start-up. Some travel will be a necessary part of the role. The Senior Project Leader will be required to travel to our customer sites as necessary during the sale, design, installation, and start-up phases of each job as well as periodic follow-up visits.
General
Responsibilities:
Engineering Phase
Provide technical direction and supervision to designers and detailers, other team members on engineering and design specifications and technical questions.
Check and approve all drawings and release same for manufacturing.
Submit /approve all material purchase requisitions and insure long lead time items / critical components are procured in a timely manner.
Manage purchased items and labor budgets, maintain detailed project schedule and maintain accurate change order process for all jobs.
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers and suppliers.
Develop and publish all required engineering documentation including operation manuals, maintenance manuals, recommended spare parts lists, etc.
Manufacturing /Assembly Phase
Manage the manufacturing /assembly phase of the project to ensure continuity with the contract and design specifications. Ensure that final drawings and the end product reflect the as sold scope.
Manage subcontractors purchase orders to maintain final production schedule.
Provide technical assistance and answer supplier questions during assembly and manufacturing as required.
Installation / Start-up Phase
Act as site supervisor during installation, start-up and training, as required.
Collect all required documentation, including Operator Training Letters, Equipment Acceptance Forms, Safety Review Forms, Field Installation Reports, etc.
Post-Installation Phase
Maintain communication and relationships with key customer representatives.
Generate and communicate potential sales leads to sales.
Help to resolve problems and issues as they arise with existing equipment including possible service /support visits as necessary.

Senior Project Leader Capabilities
Experiences Must Haves:
B.S. Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design or related field.

years experience in mechanical design / engineering for paper finishing and heavy industrial process equipment applications.
Previous experience acting as a technical leader and project manager for complex industrial projects having positive results.
Proven experience in appropriately sizing and selection of key components and materials along with a solid understanding of paper finishing processes.
Ability and desire to cultivate positive relationships with customers, key suppliers and service providers.
Experience using MS Project to track and manage projects.
Experiences Wants:
Previous exposure and basic knowledge of fluid-power and PLC based control systems.
At least average skills and experience using SOLIDWORKS and AUTOCAD design software platforms.
Previous experience in an OEM environment.
Experience in the assisting with technical proposals and presentations for complex equipment solutions.

A willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally. (Typically no more than 15% to 20%.)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
