Position Summary :
Plan, manage and execute all merchandise presentation efforts for the areas assigned. Coordinate the efforts of the Divisional, Merchants, Replenishment, Visual Managers, Store Planners, and Operations. Advise the merchant team of opportunities and consequences of various courses of action. Oversee the execution and accuracy of the merchandise presentations in accordance with the established timelines, area guidelines and standards, and operational requirements. Supervise and develop the Space Management Detailer to include yearly merit reviews.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Development and Coordination of Planogram Information
Ensure store listings for planogram development are maintained in a timely manner
Assist in the development of prototypical layouts as needed
Ensure Accurate and Timely Completion Of Planograms
Maintain Open and Timely Communication with Stores Teams
Ensures all store questions and communications are responded to in a timely manner
Project Management
Maintain project lists to support achievement of department goals
Team/Self Development
Collaborate with other analysts to ensure level workload across detailer team
Minimum Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements :
College degrees (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited university or a two year degree with the equivalent on-the-job experience
Minimum of 2 years of management experience
Minimum of (3) years experience in the retail industry; specifically in store operations, merchandise buyer, replenishment, financial planning, store planning, or planograms
Knowledge of mathematics and analysis
Ability to apply several computer applications (Excel, Word, MarketMax Windows or similar software, etc.)
Effective leadership skills involving planning, managing, coaching and training individuals as well as Team interaction
Proven ability to function in a self-directed work environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan and organize workload and effectively manage a project from start to finish
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Analytical and decision making abilities
Ability to supervise employees and/or outside contracted resources, i.e.
Ability to give direction to subordinates and/or outside contracted resources
Ability to observe and evaluate performance of subordinates and/or outside contracted resources
Ability to plan, delegate, and revise work allocation among subordinates and/or outside contracted resources
