Infinity Technology seeks to hire a systems engineer to provide our clients technology solutions that address their IT challenges and maximizes their computer network systems to create business value for them.

The ideal candidate will hold an MCSE credential and have more than 3 years of systems engineer experience.
This position will involve design, installation, monitoring and management of network systems including the local and wide area data networks, ensuring a high level of reliability, performance, and availability. This will include configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, gateways and network management systems. The systems engineer will use performance analysis and remote and onsite network management tools to trouble shoot, isolate and correct network problems. This position will provide written project scope and other support documentation for the client. The position requires the ability for occasional after-hours work and on-call rotation.
Skills and
Experience:
MCSE certification or equivalent experience and ability to demonstrate it
Minimum experience of 3-years as a systems engineer
Demonstrated ability to support, install, configure and troubleshoot a WAN/LAN environment
Solid understanding of Storage technologies and applications
Comprehensive knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter environments
Implementation and support services for Cisco related technologies: routing, switching, WiFi, and Security
Advanced knowledge in the design, administration and implementation of the following:
o MS Windows 2008/2012 Server
o MS Active Directory
o MS Exchange 2007/2010
Knowledge and experience with simple to complex IP networking including IPv4 and IPv6
The following is a plus:
o VMware and/or Cisco certification
o Strong understanding of Cisco router configuration
o Switch configuration (Cisco and HP)
o VPN configuration
o Microsoft Remote Desktop Services administration and implementation
Candidate must be familiar with:
Planning, design, and deployment of network communications systems
Administration and monitoring of network communications systems
Problem resolution and network tuning
Internetworking technologies such as routers, switches, gateways, modems and carrier services such as T-1, Cable, DSL and wireless
Internet servers, e-mail servers and firewalls
Virus intrusion detection and prevention software and other security systems
Experience with multiple operating systems including Windows and Linux is preferred
Additional Requirements:
Great attitude and customer relation skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Interest and ability to obtain additional training and education
Ability to maintain strict company and client confidentiality
Must hold a valid drivers license
