Shop Mechanic

Looking to hire an experienced Mechanic for full time, permanent work. We offer competitive benefits and first shift hours.
This position requires a diverse knowledge on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, rear ends, hydraulics; and the ability to diagnose, repair, or rebuild them.
Essential Job Functions:
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to all vehicles and equipment.
Performing electronic, hydraulic, engine and/or brake repairs.
Analyze vehicle and equipment maintenance data.
Perform annual DOT inspections and ensure compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
Complete repair and follow-up paperwork.
Order parts when needed.
Assist in all functions identified in the Yard Crew Employee job as required.
Repairs may require overnight, out of town and/or state travel.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year technical school degrees in related field.
Diverse knowledge of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
Must have experience in hydraulics, electronics, and brakes.
Engine rebuilding knowledge is required.
Must have an insurance acceptable Class A commercial driver's license.
Must have own tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
