Log Buyer - Procurement Forester
Besse Forest Products Group is comprised of sawmills and veneer mills located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northern Wisconsin. We currently have an opening for a highly motivated individual to purchase hardwood saw logs and veneer logs in the Baraga, Michigan area. The position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in log buying; ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; a self-starter with a proven ability to set and achieve goals; and the ability to work independently. Forestry Degree is required; however, significant experience and training in the forestry industry may also be considered.
