This position is located at the Milo C. Huemphner Outpatient Clinic (MCH OPC) in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a complex ambulatory outpatient clinic affiliated with the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. (695) - a Level 1a Complexity VHA Facility. The primary purpose of this position is to perform administrative and management assistance level support to the Clinic Administrator and the Clinical Leadership of the Clinic. The Incumbent ensures that the different and varied administrative support functions for which responsible are handled in a manner to enhance the efficiency of the MCH OPC as a whole. DUTIES:
Serves as the principal timekeeper for time and attendance, and must learn and stay abreast of complex rules and regulations governing time and attendance. Assists with the MCH OPC administrative office in assuring that all leave is properly accounted for and in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. Communicates with their supervisor and/or Finance/Payroll to obtain guidance and information that is needed to carry out these responsibilities Provides administrative and management assistance/support to the MCH OPC administrative office including:
Meeting planning/video conference calls/conference calls, recording and generation of meeting minutes, data gathering, conference setup and support, report generation, memos, spreadsheets, graphs and presentations. Receives significant amounts of incoming OPC correspondence, directives, handbooks, information letters and other official information; determines appropriate action, including routing to MCH OPC administrative staff for action, filing for information, or destroying. Develops, implements, and maintains effective office systems (including files and report automation) and communication on special procedures for the MCH OPC and staff as needed. Ensures that files include all documentation necessary for accurate hands-on daily office routines as well as historical background and future projections. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, reconciling all assigned control points, sets up control to monitor each control point, assuring all invoices are accurate for payment, and processing and tracking purchased documents. Must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower level (GS-05) in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Assembling, reviewing, and maintaining budget assignments while verifying the accuracy of budgetary data, adjusting dollar amounts of accounts, and preparing reports. Applying basic fact and data gathering methods, such as standard interviewing or surveying techniques, to collect various types of factual information. Collecting and managing data to input, retrieve, analyze, summarize, resolve nonstandard transactions, complaints, and present information effectively. Working with standardized processes and procedures for evaluating management or program operations to perform duties such as planning the steps to complete assignments, identifying problems from collected data, and selecting solutions from alternatives in guidelines and precedent cases. As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. Physical Requirements:
The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Manual dexterity is required in operation of personal computer and other office equipment. Selected applicants will be required to complete an online onboarding process.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
